I am already in lesbians with this...

HOLY SHIT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ANY OF THIS MEANS BUT I'M SO EXCITED!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

*after a few deep breaths*

This is the Comic Con teaser poster for the third and final film in Edgar Wright's Blood and Ice Cream/ Three Cornetto Flabours Trilogy, all starring my favourite onscreen couple, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost- The World's End. I live for the day when this releases.

The official synopsis-

“20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind’s. Reaching The World’s End is the least of their worries.”

  1. Very exciting! Clever too! Classic British pub names shouldn't be this exciting!

  2. They're all typical British pub names. I think I've been to one named The Famous Cock somewhere in Lake District actually, and there's one called The World's End in Camden if I remember correctly. Though I'm sure the film is not referencing the actual pubs.

And "the 'cigarette' end of his teens"... how clever is that! I've been a fan of the gang ever since Spaced; cannot wait for this!

    1. I think these might be a big clue as to what to expect, a la that fantastic giveaway in Shaun of the Dead when they map out the whole film in like one sentence.

Very clever. I love this gang to bits :) :)
